Two Day Casting Workshop
Students will experiment with the ngst wax casting process, working in bronze and silver to make small jewellery objects to add to your collection.
- Class hours: 9am – 4:30pm (14 hours over 2 days)

One Day Fabricating Workshop
Students will make a simple ring to learn the basic steps of sawing and soldering, and then go on to make their own bangle or pair of earrings.
- Class hours: 9am – 4:30pm (7 hours over 1 day)
- Class numbers: min 2, max 4
Two Day Fabricating Workshop
A slightly more advanced class for students who have some basic technical jewellery skills.
Students will bring an idea and will be given assistance to realise that idea.

Booking

Once your booking has been received you will be emailed class details and payment options.
Bookings are essential, and a non-refundable 50% deposit is required within a week of booking (unless other arrangements have been made with the tutor).
Bookings are provisional until deposit is received. The balance is due no later than a week before the class start date. If payment does not occur within the agreed time frame your booking will be cancelled.
Cancellation policy
Deposit is non-refundable if booking is cancelled, though every effort will be made to schedule new dates. The tutor reserves the right to cancel the course with a minimum 48 hours notice if student numbers are not met. If this occurs student will receive a FULL refund of all fees paid.
Workshop safety outline
Appropriate workshop clothes are required:
- No flammable clothing
- Long pants or overall/apron preferable
- Closed toed shoes necessary – no jandals or sandals
- Long hair must be tied back at all times when in the workshop.
No food to be consumed in the workshop.
If you have questions about appropriate workshop clothing, please contact the tutor before the class.
Amenities
Tea and coffee making facilities are provided.
Lunch is not provided – there will be a 30 minute lunch break. The workshop is located close to cafes and supermarkets and students are welcome to bring their own food for lunch and morning/afternoon tea breaks.
